i have black heads in between my eyes brows, and on my nose. i have just like white heads on my forehead, and really red pimples on ONE cheek. i've tried acne wash, and rice powder but it doesnt really help anymore.

Hello. I'm 14 years old - 15 on December 1st, and I'm thinking of asking my mom if I can get a prescription for birth control. NOT for contraception - but for my acne and painful, somewhat irregular periods. Now, I KNOW that periods are irregular for the first year or two. I got my first period in June 2009, and my second on New Year's Day 2010. I didn't get one until March, and since then, it's been somewhat regular - towards the end of the month or the very beginning of the following month. I think I have pretty heavy periods that get lighter as my period ends, but since I haven't had very many, I'm not sure. They're also extremely painful - during my last period, the only comfortable position was being doubled over, or lying down with a heating pad and some tea. Ibuprofen didn't work too well, and my mom said Midol is a waste of money (it's just ibuprofen with caffeine - she said to take some and drink some tea instead, which worked a little bit). Also, my acne is driving me insane. Ask my mother (she's always angry at the amount of acne cleansers and stuff in the shower that are mine. XD) - I've tried tons of different products, even different ones with salicyclic acid and benzoyl peroxide in them. None of them have worked all that well, and I'm sick of dealing with all the acne I have. It's not severe, but it's definitely moderate. In short, I doubt my mom would have any aversion to getting birth control for all these things. Are there any risks associated with taking birth control as young as 14? I've researched a bit, and I know that you have to take it every day, around the same time. I'm positive that I'm mature enough to handle that haha. I definitely (most positively) want children in the future - will taking birth control affect my fertility when I'm older?
